Design and Construction
– High-quality aluminum design, feels sturdy. Weight is 1.48 kg (3.27 lbs) for non-touch, 1.61 kg for touch version. Dimensions 326 x 234 x 17.9 mm.
– One-hand opening lid with glass-protected touchscreen panel. Camera, microphones, and face-recognition sensors on top bezel. Lid is relatively resistant to torsion.
– Large speaker grill with Bang & Olufsen branding. Keyboard lacks NumPad but includes joystick and dedicated mouse buttons. Surprisingly long travel for a thin device, good feedback. Glass-covered touchpad is fast and accurate, with embedded NFC antenna. Fingerprint reader on the right is fast and accurate.

Display Quality

– Peak brightness 221 nits center, 212 nits average, 12% max deviation.
– Color temperature 6410K (close to 6500K standard).
– Contrast ratio 1220:1 (1150:1 after calibration).
– sRGB coverage only 53% — lacks punchiness in color.
– Response time: Fall + Rise = 26 ms .
– PWM present up to 60 nits, but at high frequency — not exceptionally harmful.
